Tweed prints

Tweed prints are making a comeback this winter! Both chic and classic, tweed is essential in this autumn-winter season. This weaving is ideal for dressing, in addition to being warm, it allows you to add texture to your outfit.

Tweed was once worn by Scottish and Irish farmers as work clothing to fight against cold and humidity. He kept this "practical" function for several decades but in 1954, thanks to Coco Channel, the fabric appeared in a new light! Today, combined with leather, vinyl or jeans, the fabric does not wrinkle.

The little tweed jacket is one of the highlights of my wardrobe. I like to wear it with a white male t-shirt and sneakers to break the classic style. I also recently discovered a nice tweed jacket at Sandro store, discover it here

Velvet

When it comes to decoration, velvet is a real hit! Design and vintage, elegant and trendy, chic and cosy, velvet adapts to all styles. Available in a wide range of colours, it offers many possibilities... Indeed, if you wish to adopt a reassuring and peaceful atmosphere favourable to cocooning sessions, I advise you to use pastel or powdered colours such as pink or light blue. Choose bright colours if you are looking to boost and give an Arty style to your home.

Curtains, sofas, armchairs, footstools... The choice is yours! If you don't dare to go through with it and adopt the total look, you can also proceed with small touches with accessories: cushions, plaids... My favorite of the moment: the Sarah Lavoine House cushions. I particularly like the warmth that this noble material brings to a room. I can't help but think of the lounge in Le Tourville and the cozy and soft atmosphere that emanates from it.

Blazers

Blazers are timeless classics and the must-have items in your wardrobe this season, for a guaranteed masculine-feminine look. It's ideal for me, because it can be used for every occasion: on a little dress to go out, or on jeans for a more casual look... The combinations are endless!

As for colour, I prefer soft tones, such as beige or pastel colours, which are very trendy for 2020. If you are more audacious, pattern such as the hounds tooth check, tartan and Prince of Wales are making a comeback this year. Regarding the cut, the blazer is both straight and curved, but we particularly appreciate the oversized version, which is very trendy!

My little something extra? I add a big belt to mark the waist: an elegant detail, which brings a little sparkle and shifts this very strict and masculine piece.
