ART IS STEPS AWAY

LE TOURVILLE, AN ART LOVER

Our neighborhood is becoming more dynamic and is gradually becoming a place to-be for cultural and sporting events. With the installation of the Grand Palais Éphémère on the Champ de Mars, Le Tourville sees a renewed energy take hold of the 7th arrondissement. After the famous Taste of Paris, it will be FIAC's turn to move to the Grand Palais Éphémère for the not-to-be-missed event for contemporary art lovers, which will take place, as it does every year, from October 21 to 24.

The FIAC, Contemporary Art International Fair, is the ideal event to reconnect with art, to learn about modern art but also to discover the exhibitions of the various Parisian museums for the new year.

ART AND DISCOVERIES

To discover the secrets of contemporary art, we've put together a program for your next Parisian getaway in October.

Let's start with a good breakfast. Isn't that part of the reason why we all like to stay in hotels? Let's take strength, the day is going to be active!

After this invigorating breakfast, let's head for the Grand Palais Éphémère, a stone's throw from the hotel, to discover the most famous art fair, the FIAC. Meet gallery owners and collectors from all over the world, experts who will help you discover the most beautiful works of the FIAC. With a selection of international artists, the art experts selected for the occasion will make you want to walk through all the aisles of the fair to admire the most beautiful works.

A gourmet break is a must. For that, we advise you to discover the Gros Caillou district and to take the direction of the Esplanade des Invalides by taking the rue de Grenelle. At the bend in the Boulevard de la Tour Maubourg, you will find the Fitzgerald restaurant. In an intimate setting of art deco inspiration, discover the culinary delights created by Chef Pierre-Thomas Clément. With a menu that changes every two months according to the seasons, the chef will take you on a journey through his culinary universe from appetizer to dessert.

After this good meal, we suggest you discover the Rodin Museum. Take the opportunity to admire the Esplanade and the Hôtel des Invalides on your way to the museum. In the gardens of the latter, you will find the most famous work of the master of sculpture, The Thinker, surrounded by many other works by the artist.

A day full of art and discovery. Accessible to young and elders alike, don’t miss the chance to discover the best of Paris’ culture this autumn.

See you soon at Le Tourville!
